I wrote this really long, nice, wonderful entry about knitting vs reading and scarfzilla and loving knitting and then the internet ate it so you guys get this bunk:
I know I haven't posted in forever but here's what I've been doing with all my time (from Jan 20 to last week):
Scarfzilla is 18.5" across (76 stitches) and 4.5' long (a billion rows) it ate up 1.5 skeins (278yrds each) of Eco-wool and has some Fair-isle yellow thrown in. It is huge, ya'll
I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
OK well, not all my time, not at all.
Next project I'm going to catalog my hours (the best I can) but I do know that I'm going to buy more eco-wool in white/cream and dye it with the beet juice we get from cooking beets at work. Doing that tomorrow actually. Then I'll make another scarf from that.
I love knitting, love love love it.
If anyone wants anything knit for me please ask me, I'd love to do it. Scarfzilla really is my dream scarf so I'm perfectly content.
My next project is going to be knitting two socks at once via a circle needle (if I can fair isle via continential and english on my first try I can do two socks with the circle needle!) because I started one sock and I got pretty bored with it and then I realized I'd have to do it all over which didn't make me happy. I really can't wait to wear some socks I knit myself.
*sorry these are so HUGE, idk how to fix it and if it effs up your friend's list I'm sorry but also not sorry because I've posted once in a very very long time so I deserve all that built up attention
O I'm at work, thnx
